We understand the complexity of Dutch immigration law and regulations and the time-consuming administrative burden a recognised sponsor faces in the execution of its duties.<\/p>\n

A recognised sponsor has to deal with a large number of variables and derogation rules which are dependent on the receipt of the correct data and details. The duties of the recognised sponsor vary from being charged with the strenuous execution and application of complex laws and regulations when assessing and submitting residence application forms for its students and\/or employees, to having to comply with a couple of statutory obligations vis-\u00e0-vis the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service (in Dutch: Immigratie en Naturalisatiedienst: \u201cIND\u201d). The latter refer to the obligation to provide information to the IND, the duty to keep and retain records relating to the applications and the duty of care, i.e. having to ensure a careful recruitment and selection of employees and having to inform them of their rights and obligations under Dutch migration law.<\/p>\n

As a recognised sponsor remains responsible for students and\/or employees during the entire period of their study, internship or employment in the Netherlands (plus 5 years thereafter), it has to carefully monitor the life cycle of their dossiers and carry out (annual) mandatory actions and controls.
